These sessions take place out of school hours (usually in the school holidays). A mix of complete beginner, off-road (Level 1) courses and on-road (Level 2, ages 9 and above) courses are often available, dependent on the area you're based in. Please check your borough page for details of what is running in your area. All training is in small, friendly groups and with 2 qualified instructors.
Most locations have a choice of morning or afternoon sessions. These courses are very popular and fill up quickly. If you are signing up a child, please note that we expect trainees to commit to the full course as failure to turn up for sessions means another child has been denied that place unnecessarily. If you have to cancel, please do so asap, preferably by calling 0203 031 6730 or email firstname.lastname@example.org and quote your booking reference number.
If you're looking for a course that is fully booked, please check that course on the website for late cancellations no later than 24hrs in advance of the scheduled course.
Children are expected to have basic riding ability in order to participate in group training unless the course is specifically described as suitable for beginners or for those who wish to learn to ride. In most cases, children are expected to bring their own bicycle and helmet (if parents require them to wear one), though in a few locations, bicycles may be available to borrow. Please check this beforehand. Please be sure to dress appropriately for the weather!
