Have you recently learnt how to ride a bike or are you returning to cycling after a long break?
A Level 1 course is for those who can ride a bike but are not very confident about their cycling abilities. Level 1 course is delivered in a safe traffic free environment. Pick up the skills and knowledge you need to go down to the local park, or to take a trip out into the countryside. You may also one day wish to cycle to work; we can help you work towards this too.
Location
King Cross Fire Station
The instructor will meet you at Kings Cross fire station in front of the community room, to the right of the fire station. There is limited amount of parking for your use in marked spaces, which is not reserved for fire service personnel, at the front of the building. No parking is allowed at the rear of the station and we ask that you park courteously to allow ease of access for station staff and in particular emergency vehicles. If it is necessary to park off station we ask that you do not inconvenience local residents. Please let us know if you need a space for mobility reasons. West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service accept no responsibility for cars/personal belongings etc. parked in the station car park.
