This course provides foundation knowledge and practical skills for first aiders. It provides candidates with confidence and knowledge to deal with first aid occurrences. It is compliant with Health and Safety (First Aid) regulations.
It also provides a basic knowledge and practical skills that may help in life threatening and non life threatening situations for babies and children. It is intended as an introductory course for baby and child First Aid.
Please note, this course does not fulfil Ofsted’s first aid requirements for early years teachers, nursery workers and child minders who must complete a two-day paediatric first aid course.
