Gone are the dreaded stabilisers, as the use of balance bikes removes the need for most children to use them when they progress on to conventional bikes with pedals. Because PrePedal uses these specialist balance bikes that don’t have pedals it means that children can concentrate on the core skills of balance and gross motor control needed to perfect riding without having to grasp propulsion, foot and leg positioning at the same time. Making learning to ride lots easier.
Balance bikes are used all over Europe, especially in cycling-mad Holland where it is the norm to cycle every day and not unusual for children to be riding without stabilisers from as young as 3 yeas old.

Our PrePedal trainer modules are endorsed by SkillsActive. There is also an opportunity to have your courses accredited by BikeRight! through a quality control process that includes periodic post course assesments and refresher training. Ask us for more details.
