Cycling consultancy and events
As cycling becomes a more popular and mainstream activity the appetite for events to encourage, celebrate and participate will grow as will the need for expert advise and leadership.
Many people across the country run cycling events or want to integrate cycling within wider theme initiatives. More people want to join in and the young and old alike are realising the benefits that cycling can have on their lifestyles. Health care professionals are also recommending cycling as an alternative to medication in certain cases.
Our expertise can be drawn on to enhance what is already planned or to build events and programmes from the ground up. We can provide training from our instructors, bike hire from our 100 strong fleet including bikes for disabled people, advise on the implementation of cycling programmes and help develop quality processes.
Cycling infrastructure and facilities
Encouraging people to cycle is a positive move for the future. If however, appropriate infrastructure is not made available then the long-term success of any cycling initiative will be limited. We have the experience and knowledge through our work with Local Authorities and companies to advise on how best to spend budgets, what constitutes a cycling friendly environment, how to engage and encourage participation in cycling and what physical structures are needed to support this activity.
Cycle Training Consultancy
If you want to implement a cycle training programme in your area but are unsure how to start then we can help. With the knowledge, training and most importantly unsurpassed experience we can provide planning, software advice, rota organisation, feedback systems, child protection/CRB and much more.
Travel plan and climate change consultancy
Increasingly stringent CO2 emission legislation is putting pressure on organisations both public and private. Travel and transportation is one area where behavioural change can be made for the good. We can advise and how cycling can be integrated in to your orgaisational travel plan, either through commuter cycling initiatives or use of bicycles as part of peoples work.
We have run cycling initiatives delivering demonstrable savings in CO2 emissions, showing how the addition of training to commuter cycling programs can have a real impact on behaviour and long-term adoption of cycling.
We are at the forefront of understanding what prevents people from cycling and are working with a number or organisations to help gain better insights in to what is needed to make travel more sustainable, reduce carbon emissions and ease overcrowding on city streets.
