Road shows and maintenance

Road shows

Our try-out road shows are always a great crowd-puller – what better way to spend a few hours than messing about on bikes?

We have an extensive fleet of bikes, encompassing folding bikes from Brompton and Raleigh, commuter bikes from Trek, Raleigh and Specialized, mountain bikes from Cube and Specialized, electric Go-Cycles and road bikes from Raleigh and Specialized. We also have a selection of clothing and accessories from Endura, Shimano, Madison, Crumpler, Ortlieb and cateye amongst others.

We can set up our road show in any open space such as a car park. We have vehicles to transport our fleet and a gazebo for shelter should the weather turn foul.

Road shows can be booked for half or full days depending upon your requirements and number of employees. We can be flexible with timings to ensure that shift workers have the opportunity to test the bikes.

Maintenance training

Modern bicycles are expensive and complex machines.

However, armed with a little knowledge from a BikeRight! bicycle maintenance course and a few specific tools there is no reason why even the least mechanically-minded individual can’t perform simple, regular bike maintenance to help reduce wear and tear and keep the repair bills down.

Our on-site commuter maintenance courses typically last for half a day and cover the basic skills required to handle most road-side repairs such as fixing punctures, adjusting gears, fixing brakes and replacing derailed chains. We also cover routine preventative maintenance and give advice on lubrication of parts and general cleaning tips.

The maintenance courses can be combined with either the road shows or the urban cycle training.
