Safe Cyling with Pom Bear Launch Saturday/Sunday 19/20 April 2008  
Manchester Arndale Centre

Pom-Bear is launching a Safe Cycling campaign from April to June to encourage kids to get on their bikes and teach them key cycling safety tips, so you can feel confident of their safety traveling to school and at weekends.

To launch this campaign, Pom-Bear himself will be coming to Arndale shopping centre on April 19th and 20th to meet kids in person and help teach them the golden rules of cycle safety, in time for Bike to School Week (April 21-25).

Not only will kids be able to have their photos taken with Pom-Bear and receive free cycle stickers, but they can also take part in designing their own bikes and then enter a competition to win a Raleigh bike customised to their design, plus Pom-Bear cycle safety kits (containing helmet, lights, high visibility jacket and arm bands in a fun Pom-Bear bag)

More information and fun, educational games will also be available on www.pom-bear.co.uk as well as information and safety advice for parents.


If visitors to Arndale shopping centre aren’t lucky enough to win the competition for a bespoke Raleigh bike, they can enter the on pack competition to win a Raleigh bike and Pom-Bear cycle safety kit every day from 1 April to 30 June 2008.
