Cycling solutions for the community, business and you
At BikeRight! we have a commitment to make cycling viable, safer and better for everyone.
In order to realise a healthier future for individuals, communities and the environment then the way in which people get around has to change. Everyone has to become more active, everyone has to help reduce the impact of climate change. In essence everyone needs to transform their attitudes and pre-conceptions and think of cycling as a feasible means of transport as well as a leisure and sport activity.
Making cycling viable
We do this through our community cycling projects with the young and elderly, the disabled and those who don’t normally have access to cycling for a variety of reasons. We enable the use of bicycles for business through our pool bikes, cycle to work schemes and assistance on travel planning and infrastructure development. We work with Local Authorities to encourage cycling as a means of local transport and with NHS Trusts promoting cycling as an alternative to medication for the mitigation of obesity, heart disease and other medical symptoms.
Making cycling safer
We make cycling safer by providing the highest quality National Standards cycle training and Bikeability to children and adults. We work with health, safety and driver training organisations to highlight the dangers to cyclists from other road users. We develop bespoke cycle training packages for the emergency services ensuring their officers who use bikes are trained to stay safe and keep others safe.
Making cycling better
Our cycle training develops technique and skill, making cycling journeys easier and more fun. We help with cycling equipment and cycling clothing choice to make life on two wheels more comfortable and convenient. Our mountain biking skills experiences and Duke of Edinburgh training enrich people lives by providing thrills, fresh air, navigation and awareness of the countryside. Our bicycle maintenance courses have a positive impact on the safety and efficiency of bicycles and teach people new practical skills
