A decade of BikeRight!

BikeRight! recently celebrated 10 years of cycle training, maintenance courses and advocacy with a track day at the Manchester Velodrome, BMX session and MTB at the newly opened Clayton Vale trails.

A day on bikes was the only way for BikeRight! to mark the occasion!

After 10 years of training more cyclists than any other organisation in the UK, BikeRight! continues to offer a huge variety of courses ranging from Bikeability for children through to free of charge adult cycle training and City & Guilds maintenance.

MD Liz Clarke cuts the birthday cake

Over the last decade BikeRight! have provided the following...

  • Bikeability training to around 90,000 children
  • Trained over 2000 Bikeability and National Standards Instructors, who will have gone on to provide training to many 100s of thousands of children across the UK
  • Trained over 3500 adults in all levels of National Standards
  • Provided nearly 2000 people with basic, intermediate or advanced bike maintenance training

Liz Clarke, MD, added: “It’s been an amazing journey, 10years of challenges, changes and growth. We have remained faithful to the same guiding philosophy though, that of enabling cycling for as many people as possible. Our quality-led approach and dedicated team has given us firm foundations for the expansion we have enjoyed and will no doubt stand us in good stead going forward."
