CycleToWork PLUS ®

Several years ago the UK Government developed its green travel plan. Amongst measures to increase cycling as a commuter option were a number of tax and VAT benefits for employees. It’s a win-win scenario as both employees and employers gain from this strategy.

A winning partnership

Our CycleToWork PLUS initiative offers a unique approach to cycle to work schemes that goes beyond the offer of discounted bikes to employees.

CycleToWork PLUS is a strategic partnership with OnYourBike, one of the UKs leading cycle to work benefit providers.

BikeRight! provide cycle training by accredited National Standards instructors - thus improving the safety of those who choose to cycle to work and making sure they are competent and trained to do so. We can also train cycle instructors up to National Standards level for organisations who want to take this in-house.

CycleToWork PLUS can also include an exciting launch road show, maintenance training by Cytech qualified mechanics, marketing support and help to maximise uptake of the scheme, enhance travel plans and develop infrastructure.

Helping you and the environment

Cycling helps the environment by reducing the impact of CO2. The less you drive the less you pollute the atmosphere.

Cycling keeps you fit. For every hour of cycling you can burn about 400 calories. If you cycle on a regular basis you will have more energy, you will feel better, be less stressed, you will lose weight and tone your muscles.

Cycling can also save you money. Think how much less fuel you will need to buy if you cycle to work just once a week. Bus and train fairs are also increasing, but once you have a bike cycling is free!
