BikeRight! opens doors

BikeRight! has just opened doors on two new office premises in Liverpool and Newcastle-upon-Tyne.

The Liverpool office, on Boundary Street, is to service the new Bikeability contract across Merseyside and will be the base for Freewheeling adult cycle training and a new business cycling intervention due to launch soon. BikeRight! also hope to run Instructor Training and Maintenance courses from the adjacent work unit.

In Newcastle, the East Quayside office is located a stones-throw from the river Tyne, just off the famous coast to coast route. The staff there will manage both Bikeability and Freewheeling contracts in addition to other programmes.

Vicky Duncan, Newcastle Office Manager, commented: “It’s a great location, having the river nearby means it’s easy to get in to town and there are lots of local shops and cafes for lunch when we’re running courses.”

In Liverpool, Office Manager, Jen Boardman commented: “Everyone who works on the contract here thinks it’s great of have a permanent base. We are having alterations done in the work unit which will give us a fully kitted out bike store and workshop.”

Both offices are linked through to the head office systems in Manchester, and a new CRM system is being implemented to help manage the circa 20,000 people that BikeRight! aim to train in the next 12 months.
